Her passion, knowledge and calm demeanor made every step of the way feel like a breeze. She was able to answer all the questions and provided us with tons of useful information to better prepare ourselves for welcoming our first baby. We chose to have a natural birth at home and her support was just wow! I didn’t really know what to expect but now I am convinced I couldn’t have done it without her! She was by my side every minute, reminding me to breathe through my contractions, making sure I stayed hydrated and providing counter pressure to help relieve the pain. This allowed my husband to focus on me even more so and I can truly say that it was all a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend her enough! Cristina was not only the best investment we made during my pregnancy but was the greatest support, advocate, and coach I could have asked for during our daughter’s birth. “Here is mine from the father's perspective...

First, Cristina was absolutely amazing, such a kind hearted, helpful, knowledgeable, and gracious woman. My wife recently gave birth to our son and I assure you that it would not have been the same experience without the guidance from Cristina. The first appointment we had with Cristina, she came to our home and was so informative with what to expect throughout the process leading up to labor and during labor. She taught me ways to help my wife while she labored at home and once we got to the hospital. During our second visit, she thoroughly explained to us what we can expect at the hospital and taught me additional ways to be able to comfort my wife (as much as I can) during her active labor. My wife was pretty adamant on having as natural of a birth as possible and Cristina fully supported her in this. Once we got to the hospital and the time came to call on Cristina to be there with us, it was 3:00 am. She answered the phone, didn't question anything and said "I am on the way!", and 30 minutes later she walked in the door. I did everything I could to comfort my wife, but the instant relief that I saw on my wife's face when Cristina walked in told me that, without a doubt, we had made the right decision hiring her. Everything went exactly as planned and just how Cristina had prepared us with what to expect. If you're on the fence or skeptical about using a doula for your birthing experience, don't be. From a husband's perspective, considering I have absolutely no idea what you ladies go through giving birth, it was the best decision we could have made. Having someone by my wife's side that knows what she is feeling and the thoughts going through her head was the way that I could provide for her the protection and comfort that I always try to give her. So, hire a doula, specifically Cristina if you're lucky enough to have her.

To the husbands that may read this: We all want to comfort and protect our wife, but when it comes to this, there's only so much we can do. It's hard to admit, but some things aren't in our wheelhouse to handle, laboring and giving birth is one of those things for sure! My wife "appreciated" my motivation and the "you're doing great babe", but what Cristina was able to do for her just hits different. So do yourself a favor and get a doula.”

“Wow, where to start. Cristina was amazing, an angel sent from above to guide us through my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. This was our first baby and we were very fortunate to have Cristina help us along the way. She even kept in touch afterwards and checks up every now and again to see how we are all doing.
